From 19th to 22nd February Planica will host the World Championship in Ski Flying. The event will start on Thursday with training and qualification round and finish on Sunday with team competition of the world's best ski jumpers. More than 60 world records were reached in Planica. Among the most fascinanting were the first jump over 100 m and the first flight over 200 m. Current world record is held by Matti Hautamäki - 231 m from Planica in 2003.
